Detailed coverage of invasive species threatening livelihoods and the environment worldwide

Abstract

Natural control of Diprion similis Htg. in Poland during 1936.

Abstract

An attempt was made to determine the relative value of predators, pathogenic organisms, and parasites in the natural control of the sawfly in Poland in 1936-7, both separately and where the control by these factors overlap. The pathogenic organisms believed to be both bacteria and saprophytic fungi proved the most effective control factor. KEYWORDS
