Abstract

Annual radial increment of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) was studied in 7 stands showing symptoms of decline in southern Estonia. Residual growth after removal of temperature and precipitation effects by multiple regression analysis showed a continuous reduction in ring width during recent decades.
