I have over 10 years experience in the development sector and have worked for various local and international NGOs where I have focussed on a variety of information types and platforms. I am also a Carnegie Fellow and Commonwealth Scholar.
Prior to joining CABI, I worked as a Programme Officer for Training and Outreach at ITOCA, where I contributed to various ICT/ ICM capacity building projects for librarians, researchers and academics in sub-Saharan Africa for almost five years. I have also held editorial, technical training and documenting positions in various organizations.
My role at CABI is to contribute to promoting sales of the organisation’s various publishing products and explore mutually beneficial partnerships with clients within the African region.
CABI has a regional centre for Africa in Nairobi. Agriculture is essential for sub-Saharan Africa’s economic growth and yet average crop yields in Africa are among the lowest in the world. Over 80% rely on it but many face challenges in growing sufficient good quality produce.
