Chapter 12 (Page no: 229)

Design of sheep yards and shearing sheds.

Proven designs are presented for races and yards for handling sheep. The bugle and D-yard designs take advantage of the natural tendency of sheep to go back to where they came from. The yard designs will also work well for goats. A single, easy-tobuild drafting (sorting) race is also included, as well as a layout for a shearing shed that can handle large numbers of sheep.
