A case study is presented of Wilderness Safaris, which sees itself as a conservation organization as well as an ecotourism company. The company's philosophies and operations are examined. Through its partnerships with community conservancies in Namibia and Botswana and the North Island private reserve in the Seychelles, it is indicated that Wilderness Safaris has made net positive contributions to conservation and community development.
