Abstract

The esterase phenotypes were demonstrated by starch-gel electrophoresis and agar-gel immuno-electrophoresis. The hybrids appeared to have inherited all the esterase components of their parents.

In 1965-67, 12, 000 turkey ♀♀ were inseminated every 12 days with 0.025 ml. semen diluted with a sodium glutamate diluent. Fertility and hatch-ability were significantly higher than with natural mating.
