Abstract

Turkey hens were inseminated with semen diluted 2:1 in the Minnesota Turkey Semen Extender, 4 times in the first 2 wk from 32 wk of age and then once weekly for the rest of breeding season. Egg fertility was 90% in young hens and 85% in older hens vs. 93% on average for undiluted semen.
