Abstract

Semen from 4 fertile dogs was frozen at -60° for 7-10 days in a solution containing methanol. Three of 7 bitches that had been inseminated with the thawed semen delivered puppies, with an average litter size of 4.3. Differences in post-thawing viability and motility of semen occurred among dogs.
