Abstract

EXPERIMENTS were made in a district of Hessen which is seriously affected by Trichomonas infection. Sperm was collected in the artificial vagina and inseminated into 98 cows. 78 were clearly on heat and 72 of them became pregnant; the 20 that did not exhibit heat failed to conceive.
