Abstract

A proprietary soya lecithin diluent ("Biociphos" from I. M. V. l'Aigle Co., France) was superior to Foote's egg-yolk tris diluent for semen. Each diluent was used for about 500 inseminations with thawed, deep-frozen semen. It was capable of being standardized under ISO requirements.
