DURING cyclic oestrus 103 C57 brown ♀♀ were mated with vasectomised ♂♂ and 1 1/2-4 1/2 hrs. later, after mid-ventral laparotomy, were inseminated through the wall of each uterine horn; 71. 8% of the inseminations were successful. ' G. R. R.
