Abstract

In this study, the incidence of bovine tuberculosis in Gloucestershire, UK, during 2013 and 2014-2015 were compared. It was shown that the number of positive animals decreased in response to badger culling practiced in this area.

Abstract

The epidemiology and prevalence of bovine tuberculosis in Gloucestershire, UK, during 2013-2014 are presented. Compared to other areas, there was a decrease in the number of positive cattle during the study period. This decrease might be attributed to the badger culling in the area.
