I have 26 years’ professional experience in agricultural development in Africa, the Caribbean and Asia. I have extensive experience in participatory training and research and multi-stakeholder proceses. I have conducted numerous master training courses across the world on a wide variety of subjects from integrated pest management practices, tomato, citrus, cotton and coffee. I constantly use farmer group approaches including farmer field schools and have a track record in curriculum development for Training of Trainers (TOT) courses. I am a very experienced workshop moderator and facilitator and have facilitated a wide range of workshops including ones on gender, farmer participatory research and farmer field schools. I have a strong background in participatory work including: Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA); Participatory Technology Development (PTD); Farmer Participatory Research (FPR); Participatory Action Research (PAR); and Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (PM&E).
