Since March 2014, I have been the Global Director for Monitoring and Evaluation at CABI. My role here is to provide strategic and technical leadership to CABI and Plantwise in monitoring and evaluation, results reporting, data utilization, programme decision-making, and knowledge management.

Before joining CABI, I was the Principal Scientist, Program Evaluation, and Research for my own M&E Consultancy. I planned and managed social research and impact studies for donor supported projects.  Prior to that I was Senior Manager, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research (2008–2013) at Women for Women International in the USA for five years. Here, I capitalized on broad-based and technical expertise in managing the design, implementation, and evaluation of all African regional technical programmes and across Afghanistan, Iraq, and Balkans countries. Between 2006 and 2008, I had a short tenure as a Senior Evaluation Associate at Gallaudet University where I led the design and evaluation of projects for elementary and secondary schools for deaf children at the university’s Clerk National Deaf Education Center. In 2003 and up to 2006, I was an Evaluation Associate at Washington DCs NGO where I instituted and managed outcome measurement database systems to properly evaluate and accredit programmes. I was Director of Evaluation (2000–2003) at the Public Welfare Foundation where I provided expert oversight to overall aspect of the foundation’s functions, including planning, monitoring, evaluation, and provision of technical assistance for programmes.
