I am an experienced researcher in the field of crop protection and biological control, and worked for Horticulture Research International as an Assistant Entomologist before starting my career in publishing at CABI in 2003.

In my current role, I am responsible for managing the development of the Plantwise Knowledge Bank, comprising of the most relevant evidence-based diagnostic, treatment, and distribution information on crop pests and diseases, and presenting this in the most practical and accessible format to help farmers to grow more and lose less. I am also responsible for managing the development of the Plantwise Online Management System, a secure tool for managing, displaying and analyzing plant clinic data.

My previous roles in CABI include Content Editor for the Crop Protection, Forestry and Invasive Species Compendia, Coordinator for Distribution Maps of Plant Pests and Diseases, E-Production Editor, Editor of the Review of Plant Pathology and Deputy Editor of the Review of Agricultural Entomology.
