Qualifications

MSc in Rural Development and Extension; BSc in Agriculture (Crop Science)

At CABI, my role is to lead and contribute to activities within invasive species management and the Plantwise programme. Specifically, I do this by working with project teams and partners in Southern Africa in order to plan and implement development communications activities that change agricultural behaviour.

I have experience in influencing attitudes and practices through communication in participatory research and extension, agricultural innovation systems and transformational approaches. I also have expertise in facilitating participatory design and developing agricultural content for print and radio, and producing ICT based information for agricultural extension and advisory services.

Before joining CABI, I worked with Farm Radio Trust in Malawi for six years as an Agricultural Value Chain Officer.
