Stress, poor socialization, and inappropriate choice of pet, lead to problems in dogs and cats. These behavioral problems cause the breakdown of the human-animal bond, with unwanted pets, and are underlying factors in health problems. For veterinarians and behaviourists, working with and educating owners, to ensure compliance with treatments, it is vital to the success of their interventions. This symposium brings together leading experts researching and consulting on problems in dog and cats, to help understand current thinking on the links between behavior and welfare and the science needed for prevention or treatment.

Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Dr Lynette Hart. The Symposium will close with a reception after the panel discussion.

Attendees qualify for 6 hours Continuing Education. This event will also be available as a Webinar.
