Our resource area for database users offers a variety of CABI database user guides, arranged according to search interface, and product.  The files can be viewed online, by clicking on the link, or they can be downloaded and saved locally. CABI's training service also provides remote webinar sessions and on-site training courses for all subscription customers. Subject Codes List

This list will be useful to anyone searching CAB Abstracts, Global Health or any of the associated database subset products, including the various Internet Resources.

All database records include a searchable Subject Codes field.  The Subject Code field is used to code for broad subject areas within the database and, as such, can be a useful search tool when combined with other keywords and codes.  The Subject Code field is also used to code for specific types of full text content, and can be used to identify non-database, full text content such as journal articles, reviews or CAB eBooks.  The two character codes are searched using the appropriate field tag, as in the following examples:

CAB Direct: sc:0f
OvidSP: 0C.SS.
SilverPlatter: 3R in SC
