About the Abstracts Database
The Leisuretourism database contains over 100,000 abstracts from more than 30 years of research. This information is sourced from over 6,000 serial publications and thousands of other documents, including all the core tourism and leisure journals. Subject coverage includes tourism, leisure, recreation, sport, hospitality and culture. Key areas covered include:

Please note that when searching Cab Direct (accessed through the 'Abstracts Database' tab), the default is that you will be searching all the subsets of CAB Abstracts that your institution subscribes to. To search only within the Leisure Tourism database, either incorporate "sc:3r" within your search, or filter the search results by scrolling down the page to below 'Your subscriptions' on the left and clicking on 'Leisure, Recreation, Tourism' to view only the results found in the Leisure Tourism Database.
