Fungitoxic activity of vapours of some higher plants against predominant storage fungi.

Abstract

Vapour emitted by the bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum completely inhibited mycelial growth of Aspergillus flavus and A. niger, and was the most effective vapour derived from the plant parts of 20 species tested against the growth of these fungi.
