Fodder value of selected Australian tree and shrub species.

Abstract

Foliage from 39 Australian tree and shrub species cultivated in field trials near Gympie, Queensland, were analysed for digestibility, protein content, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc and manganese concentrations. Twenty-five species are recommended for further study.
