Abstract

The nutritive values of some tree legume species including Leucaena leucocephala, Sesbania grandiflora, Calliandra calothyrsus and Albizia falcataria for cattle and sheep in Grati, Bambu Apus, Cisarua and Sungei Putih, Indonesia are discussed in terms of chemical composition (CP, fat, fibre, N, Ca, P, K, S, Na, Mg and toxic compound content), digestibility, intake and liveweight gain.
