A review, describing: botany and genetics; ecology (in relation to soil, cold tolerance, drought and other factors); symbionts, diseases and pests; establishment and management; use as animal feed; use in soil improvement (alley cropping, and as companion trees for various plantation crops and forest trees); tree and wood use (yields, use for fuelwood, pulp and poles); food and other uses; and advantages of planting Leucaena.
