Leucaena in northern Australia - a review.

Abstract

Progress in four areas of research is summarized in relation to the potential use of L. leucocephala for forage: characterization and conservation of genetic resources, agronomy (establishment, evaluation and management), alleviation of toxicity (by breeding, management, or use of rumen microorganisms), and feeding value and animal production.
