NOMENCLATURE: Approved name: Spodoptera litura multicapsid nucleopolyhedrovirus. Other names: SlNPV; SaNPV.

SOURCE: Baculovirus that occurs widely in Nature. Originally isolated from the beet armyworm (Spodoptera litura (H_bner)).
