Overview
Index Veterinarius is a comprehensive index to internationally published research on veterinary medicine, including diseases and their treatment, microbiology, physiology, animal behaviour and welfare, food safety and veterinary history.
Content is obtained from over 3,500 serial publications and from books, conference proceedings, annual reports and theses that are indexed by subject and author, providing an inclusive guide to the world's veterinary literature. All relevant publications on pets, farmed animals, fishes, wild animals, laboratory animals and zoo animals are included.
Index Veterinarius contains approximately 21,000 records each year derived from CAB Abstracts, the original applied life sciences database.
