Overview
Dairy Science Abstracts is a fully searchable abstracts database of internationally published research on all aspects of dairy science and technology, including the production, composition and processing of milk and dairy products, the physiology of lactation and the use of milk and dairy products in human nutrition.
Derived from CAB Abstracts, the original applied life-sciences database, Dairy Science Abstracts includes coverage of breeding, nutrition, physiology of lactation and diseases of dairy animals, as well as housing and economics. All mammalian species and their milk and milk products are covered. The treatment and disposal of farm and dairy wastes are also covered.
Each week Dairy Science Abstracts delivers all the new highly-targeted, searchable summaries covering key English and non-English language journal articles, reports, conferences and books about Dairy Science.
Created and indexed by subject specialists the database provides access to these abstracts alongside comprehensive indexing, classification codes, taxonomies, thesauri and other data mining functionalities.
Dairy Science Abstracts online includes a fully searchable backfile to 1990 of over 145,000 research summaries. Over 10,000 summaries are added to the database each year, bringing a wealth of current and seminal research in dairy science to your fingertips!
