Overview
Poultry Abstracts is a fully searchable abstracts database of internationally published research on all aspects of poultry production, from fertilization and embryology to slaughter and meat processing, consumption and marketing.
Developed from CAB Abstracts, the original applied life sciences database, Poultry Abstracts delivers all the new highly-targeted, searchable summaries covering key English and non-English language journal articles, bulletins, conferences, theses and books about poultry. All farmed birds, including fowls, turkeys, ducks, geese, quails and ratites are covered.
The online version of Poultry Abstracts is updated weekly and includes a fully searchable backfile to 1990 of over 95,000 abstracts. Over 7,000 new records are added each year.
Poultry Abstracts is also available monthly in print with author, subject and serials cited indexes
