Attitudinal and institutional indicators for sustainable agriculture.

This chapter proposes a set of institutional and attitudinal indicators to gauge progress in the reorientation of agriculture towards sustainability. It begins by first looking at the recent vogue for quantitative environmental indicators and by considering their shortcomings as instruments of policy analysis.
