ASHC has a highly experienced communications team. Their remit is to work with any organisation that is attempting to get ISFM messages out to target audiences – usually farmers or extension worker.
ASHC can help with everything up to the point of dissemination – so we produce camera-ready artwork or audio/ audio visual material ready for broadcast.
ASHC can:
• Work from materials you have under development and help you to make them work for your target audience. ASHC is currently working on a series of leaflets for farmers and textbooks and training manuals – editing the text and overseeing the design of the finished product.
• Facilitate write-shops to help to establish what dissemination materials should look like.

• Help you to customise materials that have already been developed. ASHC is building a bank of materials on ISFM these are going to be available in a modular form so you can pick and mix the materials to get exactly the ISFM materials your audience needs.
• ASHC is always keen to hear from publishers that have innovative communication channels that can reach smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa. To date ASHC has worked with Shujaaz FM; Shamba Shape-Up; Fibrelink and Young African Express to develop exemplar materials.
