What is the Michigan State University (MSU)?
The Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics of Michigan State University offers these diverse areas of study, to prepare graduates for careers including in food and agri-business management; environmental management and development economics.
Engagement with the ASHC:
MSU and particularly Professor Valerie Kelly have a lot of information on international development, agricultural production and policy issues in Sub-Saharan Africa. Together with the ASHC post doc (policy), data and information will be collected and synthesised into policy briefs, statement and papers. Valerie will also serve as the mentor of the post doc.
