Dr Shamie Zingore is the Africa Regional Director for the International Plant Nutrition Institute. He is leading implementation of research and development programmes in sub-Saharan Africa to promote fertilizer best management practices and encourage fertilizer use in ways that are technically efficient, economically rational, and environmentally friendly.
