Supporting knowledge sharing on Integrated Soil Fertility Management (ISFM) for increased productivity

Africa Soil Health Consortium (ASHC) is a new project contributing towards radical change in the understanding and use of Integrated Soil Fertility Management (ISFM) techniques in sub-Saharan Africa, enabling smallholder farmers to improve their crop yields. The ASHC project is being coordinated by CABI, an international science and agriculture organization, through their team in Africa, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

AGRA invites ASHC to deliver a write-shop for the Soil Health Program grantees

The Soil Health Program is one of AGRA’s flagships investments. Ninety-four grants worth US$ 90 have been awarded in 13 sub-Saharan Africa countries, with just over half of them focused on deploying proven ISFM innovations

Eight of the ISFM grantees are being invited to Kenya to work with ASHC in a write-shop to be held at Sopa Lodge near Naivasha from 3 - 7 June 2013. Read more...
