About Full Text

The Animal Science Database includes over 26,000 full text records maintained as PDFs in CABI's Full Text Repository which was set up in 2005. More are being added on a weekly basis.

These full text documents include conference papers, articles from journals, bulletins and reports. The Repository was set up following feedback from users who wanted help in accessing the full text of papers indexed in our databases. Many of these documents are difficult for researchers and librarians to locate, being obscure and difficult to obtain. Many reports and conference proceeding are now being published on the internet, however, links to these are often changed or broken. In particular, when internet sites are redesigned links to older documents are often removed.

More journals, bulletins and conferences are being added continuously and an increasing number of organizations are agreeing to add their content to the Repository. If you are a journal editor or hold the copyright to conference proceedings that you would like to see in the database as full text, please contact the Editorial team (r.taylor@cabi.org)
