tumor antigen.
T banding
a staining technique with Giemsa stain used in the preparation of karyotypes; stains the telomeres (ends) and the centromeres.
T cell

T c. receptor antigen specific heterodimeric proteins, either ?? or ??, present on the surface of T lymphocytes, the specificity of which is generated by somatic mutation and somatic recombination of a relatively small number of genes and is similar to that responsible for the generation of antibody diversity.
T conformational state
deoxy (‘tense’) conformational form of hemoglobin.
T effector cell
includes large granular lymphocyte, called also natural killer cell and cytotoxic T lymphocytes.

t statistic, t distribution
the statistical distribution of the ratio of the sample mean to its sample standard deviation for a normal random variable with zero mean. It is the basis of various t-tests used to make inferences about the mean of a normal variable.
