force and rhythm (of pulse).
F distribution
the distribution of the ratio of two independent quantities each of which is distributed like a variance in a normally distributed sample. Called also variance ratio distribution.
F wave

F(ab)ΒΈ2 fragment
a portion of an IgG molecule, produced by pepsin digestion, that contains two Fab fragments, that is two light chains and portions of two heavy chains, joined by disulfide bonds in the hinge region. Contains two antigen-combining sites.

first filial generation, a term used in genetics. See also first cross.

second filial generation, the progeny produced by the mating of F1 generations.
