I have worked for CABI for over 20 years. My background lies in the field of scientific and technical information management, as well as dissemination in the field of agriculture. I also have over 16 years experience of project development and management and have recently obtained a PRINCE2 Practitioner Certificate. I have organised many conferences, workshops, training courses, placements and study tours both in China and in the UK.

I have visited and developed partnerships with governmental agencies, research institutions, information centres and publishers in the UK and more than 15 countries across the world.

My consultancy work has been focused on several developing countries in S.E. Asia and China. For 10 years I was on the board of the International Association of Agricultural Information Specialists (IAALD) where I served as a Vice President for five years from 2000-2005. I have also been a visiting Professor at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
