I joined CABI in 1997, after the degree courses mentioned above and jobs in the university library in York and cataloguing film at the BBC Natural History Unit. I am part of the Human Sciences team where I am responsible for CABI’s database coverage and abstract journals on parasitology and medical/veterinary entomology and mycology, as well as the sugar industry. I also spend a significant part of my time on the Invasive Species Compendium, and have worked on the CAB Thesaurus – our controlled vocabulary of indexing terms - and the Research4Development database.
