About Full Text
The Global Agricultural Research Archive database includes over 2800 full text records maintained as PDFs in CABI's full text repository. More will be added.
These full text documents include conference papers, journal articles, annual reports and bulletins.
The repository addresses several problems with access:
(1) Many of these documents are difficult for researchers and librarians to locate and obtain.
(2) Although many reports and conference proceedings are now being published on the internet, links to these are often changed or broken. In particular, when internet sites are redesigned links to older documents are often removed.
(3) A digital copy of those documents also ensures that for those with no electronic equivalent, the content is ensured even when the print copy is lost, damaged or destroyed (e.g. through conflict or natural disaster).
We are continuously searching for conferences and journals to add to the Archive. If you are a journal editor or hold the copyright to conference proceedings that you would like to see in the database as full text, please contact the Editorial team at: globalarchive@cabi.org.
