A survey of nematodes of potato-growing areas in Pakistan, revealed 51 species in 26 genera. Of these Globodera sp. (Kalam Valley and Northern areas), followed by Meloidogyne sp. (mainly in Balochistan) and Pratylenchus and Ditylenchus spp. in various potato growing areas, were the only ones of concern.
