Abstract

This report presents the summary and recommendations in the Blantyre City Fuelwood Project Area in Malawi. A general geological assessment of the Blantyre Fuelwood Project Area and its rural communities is presented. Major findings on household economy and agricultural production are presented and discussed, together with appendices of rural households. Copies of the household questionnaires and the questionnaire used for the intensive interviews with women are enclosed.
