CAB Direct hits 10 million!

CABI’s renowned resource CAB Direct, which combines the leading bibliographic databases CAB Abstracts and Global Health, celebrated the indexing of its ten millionth record this month.

Now containing over 10 million abstract records,179,950 full text articles and thousands of authoritative reviews, news articles and reports the milestone marks a significant step for the CAB Direct database making it one of the leading bibliographic repositories for applied life sciences on the market. With a larger knowledge bank of scientific information delivered through a platform that brings the latest technology for comprehensive searching, customers now have more access to the latest scientific evidence.

The news coincidentally comes a week after the bibliographic database CAB Abstracts catalogued its 7 millionth record. The bibliographic database, which was identified as the must have resource for veterinary professionals earlier this year, covers the latest scientific knowledge in topics of agriculture, environment, veterinary sciences, applied economics, food science and nutrition.
